The project “photographers of the world” is a voyage of
discovery to homes and distances. It leads along the routes of
five transcontinental journeys. Each journey starts at the
most northern point of the mainland of one continent and
ends at its most southern point.
Travelling across the continents Roland Adams is looking for
local photographers. They are invited to join the project
by showing five pictures of their home and one picture of what
distance does mean to them. Pictures and photographers are
presented on this website.
The project has started in 2006. So far the voyage led through
Europe, Australia and parts of America.
